Mountain biking in Les Carroz and Le Grand Massif

Les Carroz packs a punch for riding as a quiet paradise found alongside the busy trail network of the neighbouring Portes du Soleil - Les Gets, Chatel and Morzine.

You'll find a mixture of natural and bike park trails in Les Carroz and the wider lift-accessible Grand Massif trail network. In particular, Samoens can be accessed via the Les Carroz telecabine with a 20-minute traverse to drop into the Samoens trails with lift access back over into Les Carroz.

Les Carroz has hosted the French downhill champs (Pinkbike coverage) and Samoens has hosted the Enduro World Series.

Les Carroz telecabine is open every day from 24th June to 10th September – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

There are endless opportunities for longer adventure day rides following the tree lines of the valleys through a network of hamlets, villages and refuges. A short drive down the Chamonix valley gives you access to Les Houches, amongst other hidden gems. You can also drive across to Les Gets in 35 minutes.
